I build
cloud-native
AI systems.
Fleets and
classrooms.

Almost everything I have shipped is under NDA or sitting behind someone else's login. So this page will not show you dashboards you have no way to verify.

It will show you its own source instead.

Two domains

Fleet operations & logistics

Telematics, compliance paperwork, dispatch, settlement. Systems that run while people are driving, and that cannot be down at 04:00.

Education & training

Adult learners, institutions, curriculum data. Systems that have to be correct, bilingual, and safe for people who did not choose to use them.

I have taken products in both from empty repository to production, alone: architecture, schema, migrations, backend, retrieval, model integration, frontend, infrastructure, CI, deploys, and the pager.

How I think

  1. A model should never be the authority on a state change. Let it return a verdict. Let code decide what happens next.
  2. Multi-tenancy is not a feature you add later. It is a constraint you start with, or a breach you have already scheduled.
  3. If a test needs the network, it is not a test.
  4. A green CI run proves the code compiled somewhere. It does not prove the thing boots.
  5. Run the migration before you restart the box. I have learned this the expensive way, once.
  6. French is not a translation layer bolted on at the end. Write it, or do not offer it.
  7. Guardrails are not safety. They are the part of safety you remembered.

Tools I reach for

Python · FastAPI · async SQLAlchemy · PostgreSQL · Redis · Celery · Alembic · Docker · AWS · Cloudflare · React · vanilla JS · D3 · pgvector · SQL I write myself

Languages: English, French, Arabic. Everything I ship is bilingual because half my users are.

Hire me

Open to staff and principal engineering, AI product work, fractional CTO, and build mandates.

Fleet or education preferred, though I have picked up an unfamiliar domain twice now and it took weeks, not quarters. Montréal, working across Canada. Remote is fine. I answer within two days.

Or find me on LinkedIn.
